Masaba Gupta, a fashion designer based in New Delhi, penned a heartfelt remembrance of Satish Kaushik. Allegedly caused by a heart attack, the 66-year-old filmmaker passed away in New Delhi. Masaba has uploaded a flashback photo to Instagram Stories that features her mother, renowned actress Neena Gupta, and Satish Kaushik. Underneath it, Masaba wrote, “Rest in peace, Uncle Kaushik. You gave mum the most incredible gift… We shall miss your generosity throughout the years.” Masaba has included a red heart icon in her post. In her autobiography Sach Kahun Toh, Neena Gupta disclosed that Satish Kaushik proposed to the actress when she was pregnant with Masaba. “No need to fear; if the child is born with dark complexion, you can just claim it’s mine, and we’ll get married. Nothing will be questionable, “he added.

Neena Gupta also posted a heartfelt video on Instagram lamenting the loss of her close friend Satish Kaushik. In her video message, the actress stated, “I awoke to incredibly tragic news. Only one person in the entire world called me Nancy, and I referred to him as Kaushikan. Our friendship began during our college years. He no longer exists. It is terrifying and tragic. Vanshika and Shashi, his daughter and wife, are going through a really difficult moment, and I’m always here for them if they need me. God grant them the fortitude to endure this loss, especially Vanshika.”
Thursday, Satish Kaushik was cremated in Oshiwara, Mumbai.
