Delhi Capitals have chosen David Warner as their new captain in place of Rishabh Pant. Meanwhile, former cricketer Yuvraj Singh reached Pant’s house to meet him.
Rishabh Pant’s car had an accident (30 December 2022) when he was returning home from Delhi to Roorkee. He was driving his car by himself, this horrific road accident happened around 5 in the morning in which Pant narrowly survived. He was immediately admitted to the hospital. He is on the road to recovery after surgery in Mumbai, but it will take time for him to recover. Pant is going to stay out of not only IPL but also many other tournaments. He will also not be able to play in the ODI World Cup to be held in India.

Rishabh Pant also recently shared a video in which he is walking in the swimming pool with the help of a stick. Pant is recovering fast, he himself is eager to return to the field soon. Rishabh Pant was the captain of Delhi Capitals, due to his absence, now the team is going to face trouble in wicket-keeping. The team has chosen David Warner as the captain. It remains to be seen who will do wicket-keeping for Delhi Capitals in Pant’s absence.
